The cousins celebrating Grummies birthday at the Mansion in McGregor, Texas on May 2, 2010. The birthday was on April 30, but our party was on Sunday May 2nd. The cousins gave Grummie the greatest present of all - a performance with their string instruments. The Mansion is a unique place. It's an old home full of antiques commemorating the Presidents of the U.S.. The food was also great. It was like stepping back in time to the nineteenth century.

The whole gang at the Suzuki camp that was at Albuquerque, NM this year. We loved Santa Fe for the past six years but unfortunately the College of Santa Fe closed. The facility at the University of New Mexico is much nicer and the accommodations are better but we will miss Santa Fe. Pictures are the cousins with the Institute directors at the final concert.

It was a very busy Christmas. Alternated between houses. Christmas dinner at our house. A great Christmas Eve breakfast at Andy & Rosie's. Opened presents Christmas afternoon with everyone at our house. Gag gift ornament exchange at Andy & Rosie's on Christmas night. Wednesday & Thursday night we had gourmet meals prepared by Mark & Becky at their home. Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings were at our home with feast and movie watching. Saw all three of the Borne action movies of Robert Ludlum.
Now for New Years at our house without the Andy Montgomery family who are on their way to Big Bend.
Above are the cousins minus Maggie who was spending the night with a friend.
It's going to take us several weeks to rest up for Spring Break. The only bad news is with Polly and Lawrence. Bill is moving them to California. Lawrence broke his hip in November and has continued to deteriorate with totally blindness, dementia and very limited mobility because of the hip. Polly's Alzheimers is very severe. Their management is a great challenge. This will be the last Christmas Season for us to see them. The faces continue to change around the table.

The Montgomery cousins had a grand time at the annual 4th of July bash. The parade around the compound is the main event of the celebration. Fortunately, we got a short break in the rain to have the parade. The food and fireworks were also great as well as a slide show by Andy featuring their recent trip to Puerto Rico.
